This is a design I made for a customer who ordered it 16 hours ago: it is completely hand drawn by me and I created the knot weaving as well.

I think I can definitely say Christmas time is the most busy time of the year for an illustrator.... lots of people want to have their books and fables illustrated for their sons, daughters, niece..... I wish each month was so full with commissions!!!!! But I am also neglecting my watercolors, wich makes me a bit sad.... Brushes, wait for me, I'll soon be back!!!!!!! :-) This is an illustration I drew for a client....  a fairy, of course :-)

I’m just opening  my new shop on Etsy:   its name, Fantasy Art Online, is temporary, and it will take time to set up as I want it to be, but I already added a few items: in particular, I added a downloadable drawing, a Christams fairy, both in coloured and black and white version, ready tobe coloured. I hope it brings me luck!!! A few days ago a new book I illustrated has been published: it is the first book I worked on to be available in a traditional format, not an ebook. For the first time it is not a children's book: it has been written by a bioenergetic therapist, and it is about self - development. Illustrating such kind of book has been a challenging experience: I drew the illustrations following the author's suggestions, and had a good time! It was an interesting topic to illustrate because it gave me the possibility to express contents through colours... it was a bioenergetic experience itself.... :-)

 Liberty longing - 2012  This is My new watercolor: I enjoyed very much painting the wings, I painted something beetween a butterfly and a a dragonfly wing.  I have tried to fade colours (from green to a warm yellow) without interrupting the coloring act: in other words, I am learning to shade off one color into another without sudden changing in colors texture. I am quite happy of it and, as usual, I felt very happy during painting. Which is the main reason I paint for. Questa è la mia prima opera in digitale, realizzata completamente al pc, con l'ausilio di una tavoletta wacom pen. Il soggetto per me non è molto nuovo, piuttosto mi sono concentrata sul mezzo. Come scrissi tempo fa, sto imparando l'arte del disegno dei nodi celtici... Il mio maestro è attualmente Aidan Meehan, un ottimo artista ed un grande insegnante, seppure a distanza (seguo un corso per corrispondenza, gli invio le mie tavole e lui me le restituisce commentate). Questo è uno dei miei esercizi. As I wrote in a previous post, I am learning knots- drawing from an excellent artist and great teacher named Aidan Meehan; it is a correspondence course, I draw and send to him my works, and he sends them back to me with his comments. This is one of my exercises.

She is one of a kind sculpture: a Punk Elf Princess completely handmade, she is removable from her tree-shaped pedestal. Realized in fimo, approx. cm 12 high, the pedestal diameter is 12 cm. She has beeen made with no moulds.
