This is a detail of my latest fantasy painting.... a tiny butterfly fairy...

This time I took a deep breath, found some courage and decided to try: I submitted this painting for participating to the 2015 edition of Spectrum Fantastic Art. Anyway, I enjoyed painting it, she is the lady of the manor taking a rest from her daily duties, sitting on the lakeside beneath her castle. While painting I probably was thinking to the Urquhart Castle, which I visited in 2012: it was very inspiring... You can find it on my Zazzle shop as a poster

 Liberty longing - 2012  This is My new watercolor: I enjoyed very much painting the wings, I painted something beetween a butterfly and a a dragonfly wing.  I have tried to fade colours (from green to a warm yellow) without interrupting the coloring act: in other words, I am learning to shade off one color into another without sudden changing in colors texture. I am quite happy of it and, as usual, I felt very happy during painting. Which is the main reason I paint for. Questa è la mia prima opera in digitale, realizzata completamente al pc, con l'ausilio di una tavoletta wacom pen. Il soggetto per me non è molto nuovo, piuttosto mi sono concentrata sul mezzo. Spero vi piaccia. Per favore citatemi se scaricate l'immagine: consento solo l'uso privato e non commerciale. This is my first digital work, I used a wacom tablet. At last , after many posts all saying "she's almost finished" and "I will post the photo in a short time", I can show you Elenoire, a Leanann Sidhe (the irish poets' muse):  I sell it on EBay here I report the description I wrote for the Ebay auction: Elenoire is a Leanan sidhe, the poets' muse; in celt mythology she is a fairy loving a human... men who fall in love with her, according to tradition, have short and intense lives: if she loves not being loved back, she becomes the slave of her lover; if she doesn't love her human companion, he becomes hers forever... She is approximately 42 cm high, made in air dry clay, with no muolds. Her dress is completely removable and hand-sewed (there are three pieces: corset, skirt and underskirt): her hair are made with mohair wool, and covered with glitters. I'm having a really hard period, with family problems and job going on as usual (i.e., very tiring!) I get a look at my unfinished sculpture at least once a day, longing to have the strenght to work at it, but I can't because I am too tired and in my spare time I must wash the dishes, clean the house... I am sad because time passes and I can't do the only thing that is really mine, sculpting and painting!!! However, I will never give up... I hope to finish my sculpture soon and to be able to post some photos in a short time.... in the meanwhile I add the photo of a little watercolour drawing I did last year... World, wait for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
