She's ready: I finished at last my first pencil work: to tell the truth, the background I did using watercolors, but all the rest is made using pencils. Prints are on sale on Fine art america  : they obviously won't have the watermark (i.e. my name and website) on them.

I've finished the plants on her head... I'll study the background now!

After a stop caused by a bad flu, I am working at my green woman again... this time you can see hair, flowers and leaves coming to life...

This is a  cover I designed for a novel (ebook version, lettering not included)...

As the fantasy portrait goes on it becomes more interesting... I am available for fantasy and traditional portraits at fbonghi@yahoo.it. Payment due only when the portrait is finished via Paypal or credit card. No shipping is due, it doesn't matter where in the world the painting will be delivered. Available for digital potraits as well. Feel free to write for any question.

This is the wip (work in progress) of the painting I am working at: I am trying with colored pencils this time... Subject is the female version of the renowned Green Man...

After taking a short holiday, eating some pandoro and Christmas cakes, and being at home looking after my daughter, I am ready to start a new year full of colors, paintings and illustrations! I had a very busy November and December, illustrating four children's books in only 40 days... but I did it without missing my delivery dates :-) I spent these few January weeks finishing my last watercolor (you'll see it in a few days, as soon as I take the photos): I am thinking to use it to do my first video tutorial about watercolor technique... Anyway it is finished now and I am open for commissions again: if you wish the book you wrote for your children to be illustrated, want a portrait of your dog, a custom tatto or a fantasy painting depicting your girlfriend, just contact me at fbonghi@yahoo.it Wishing everybody a happy new year This illustration is a custom coat of arms I did for a client....

I want to thank all of you, kind readers .... each of you for sharing, liking and appreciating my art and, more in general, all of fantasy art and Art lovers..... This is a gift for you, a special Christmas tree collecting a few of my past works, both digital and traditional. I really wish you and your families a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Hugs Fabiola

This is the cover of the last book I illustrated: click on the image and you'll be able to visit the Amazon book page: the original illustration I drew is a brightly full colored one, but the author prefererred a sepia version...

An “orphan” drawing I used to draw illustrations for a wedding organizing website, providing them to its webmaster: unfortunately the collaboration between the webmaster and that website stopped, but someone forgot to tell me about that, so I continued to illustrate the piece they previously told me to work at. The illustration I drew  I like very much, I must say it probably is the most original I drew for them, but it is not intended to be part of that website anymore. Nevertheless, I want it to be displayed, so I post it here: it is all gold and silver!!! :-)

This is the last illustration I drew for a book cover...

A few days ago a new book I illustrated has been published: it is the first book I worked on to be available in a traditional format, not an ebook. For the first time it is not a children's book: it has been written by a bioenergetic therapist, and it is about self - development. Illustrating such kind of book has been a challenging experience: I drew the illustrations following the author's suggestions, and had a good time! It was an interesting topic to illustrate because it gave me the possibility to express contents through colours... it was a bioenergetic experience itself.... :-)

I lately added a new skill to my expertise and I begun designing logos: here it is a short video showing the making of my own personal logo, the first I designed: For those of you interested in this topic, I found a good website (or, by now, it appears to be so) of freelancers offering different kinds of services, and I put myself among them! This is my page on freelancer (yes, this is the website): https://www.freelancer.com/u/fabiolab.html If you need a personal, unique and artistic logo contact me or visit the logo page: I’ll be glad to create it for you! You can also have a short video showing the making of a logo or, if you wish, a video promoting your logo and enterprise!!! See  this page  for purchasing options! This is one of the logos I dwesigned by now:

Liberty longing - 2012 This is My new watercolor: I enjoyed very much painting the wings, I painted something beetween a butterfly and a a dragonfly wing.  I have tried to fade colours (from green to a warm yellow) without interrupting the coloring act: in other words, I am learning to shade off one color into another without sudden changing in colors texture. I am quite happy of it and, as usual, I felt very happy during painting. Which is the main reason I paint for. Please visit my Video page   to get a look at the making process: I took photos while painting (of course, I stopped painting when I took the shot!), I really hope you appreciate it. Visit my Gallery to learn measures an other details.  Streamfairy - Fab Questo è il mio nuovo acquerello: mi sono divertita molto mentre lo dipingevo; in particolare mi sono concentrata sull'effetto delle ali - a metà strada tra quelle di una farfalla e quelle di una lib...
