Fantart- Il posto dei Libri e dei Disegni

Thank you to all my visitors following the making of my Green woman... the painting is almost finished!!!!! When she's finished I will prepare stamps and prints to make her available in my shops! In the meanwhile, here she is:

After a stop caused by a bad flu, I am working at my green woman again... this time you can see hair, flowers and leaves coming to life...

This is the last illustration I drew for a book cover...

Approx. 35 cm high, long blond curly hair with a thin braid on the right side of her face, Venus is posable, has a sofa and a pedestal, so she can seat or stand up. She doesn't stand without her pedestal. The pedestal is covered with small mirrors: space between mirrors is gold-glittered. The sofa is silk-covered. Completly hand made by me with no use of moulds, from the very beginnng to the end, sofa and pedestal included. She will be on display at bambole a roma, on the 11th of april. Just because it takes a long time to do a ball jointed doll, while doing it I have decided to begin a small fairy, made of fimo: it took me a short time to finish her, and she is my first posable doll, in other words she has a soft body. She is dressed in a kind of can-can way (the french dance), and I am very proud of her tiny boots. Now that I have finished her I will come back to my ball jointed doll: I will bring the two of them at the next show I will participate, http://www.bambolearoma.it/  . At last , after many posts all saying "she's almost finished" and "I will post the photo in a short time", I can show you Elenoire, a Leanann Sidhe (the irish poets' muse):  I sell it on EBay here I report the description I wrote for the Ebay auction: Elenoire is a Leanan sidhe, the poets' muse; in celt mythology she is a fairy loving a human... men who fall in love with her, according to tradition, have short and intense lives: if she loves not being loved back, she becomes the slave of her lover; if she doesn't love her human companion, he becomes hers forever... She is approximately 42 cm high, made in air dry clay, with no muolds. Her dress is completely removable and hand-sewed (there are three pieces: corset, skirt and underskirt): her hair are made with mohair wool, and covered with glitters.
