Ostara: il fluire inarrestabile della vita - Ostara, Life's relentless flowing

 

Ho iniziato a dipingere questo quadro quando la Primavera stava per arrivare, e l'ho intitolato pensando alla festività celtica che, appunto, ne celebra l'approssimarsi, Ostara.

Questo dipinto si ispira anche all'Hanafubuki, la tempesta di fiori di ciliegio che è occasione in Giappone per contemplare il risveglio della natura. 

Quando i fiori di ciliegio cadono è il momento in cui cominciano a crescere i frutti. 

Contemplare questo fragile passaggio ogni anno è un modo per riconciliarsi, quando è possibile, per quanto è possibile, con la caducità di ciò che è bello e prezioso.

C'è sempre spazio per la contemplazione.

I started painting this artwork when Spring was about to arrive, and I named it after the Celtic festival that celebrates its approach, Ostara.

This painting is also inspired by Hanafubuki, the cherry blossom storm that is an opportunity in Japan to contemplate the awakening of nature. 

When the cherry blossoms fall is when fruits begin to grow. 

Contemplating this fragile passage every year is a way to reconcile, when possible, as much as possible, with the transience of what is beautiful and precious.

There is always room for contemplation.
